Interpersonal Skills My years of experience have aided my development in understanding the relationships between me, the people I work with, and the individuals I support. This required an understanding of how to communicate in a professional and perceptive manner. My patient and cheerful personality have been a boon in this perception. Personally, I follow the idea of treating others as I want to be treated, and constantly strive to solve the ever present conundrum that is the ability to communicate solutions between individuals and groups.

This has borne in me a belief that a workplace is greatly enhanced through ethnically and culturally diverse staff. These differences bring with them ideas and thought processes that a closed culture could never overcome. Every team member, including myself, should have the capability and capacity to assist their peers. After all, a business is a team effort.
Self-Reliant Being a team player is a definite must. However, each member of that team should still be able to carry their own weight. That is, no member should leave their duties for their colleagues to complete, when they themselves have tasks which must be done. Given a task, I am able to follow through until completion. Without a task, I know how to search out and seek those things which must be done.
Communication Life is a constant test in an individual’s ability to clearly and concisely transfer ideas and thoughts through verbal and non-verbal communications. I know the ability to not only understand what another person is saying, but to empathize with their needs, is a cornerstone of social interaction. Accurate and succinct communication, in any relation, helps alleviate a vast amount of confusion.
